Dear Members, Colleagues and Friends,

As we look toward the year ahead, it is my pleasure to share the direction and initiatives planned for the Prosthodontic Society (Singapore) in 2026. Our Society continues to be driven by a commitment to collaborative learning and the advancement of prosthodontics In line with this mission, the upcoming year will feature an active calendar, offering a diverse range of programmes designed to support the growth and engagement of our members and also the general dental community.

Members can expect a robust slate of events throughout 2026, including scientific meetings, clinical workshops, invited lectures by distinguished speakers both in-person and online. These activities have been curated to ensure that each engagement delivers practical relevance—whether through deepening understanding of complex restorative challenges, showcasing advancements in digital dentistry and biomaterials, or discussing treatment protocols that define contemporary prosthodontic practice.

In addition to major scientific events, we will be introducing more small-group and informal activities to foster deeper interaction amongst our members. These sessions offer a setting where members can engage openly, exchange clinical perspectives, and explore nuanced topics that may not surface during larger meetings. We believe this balance of structured and informal learning opportunities will enrich the member experience and add dynamism to our Society’s activities.

The growth of our Society is driven by the collective involvement and expertise of its members. In light of this, I strongly encourage all members to take an active role in our programmes, through participation, contributing ideas, or presenting cases. Each member brings valuable knowledge shaped by years of specialised training and clinical practice, and your contributions help strengthen the Society as a whole.

Lastly, I would also like to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of our Executive Committee members, who have invested considerable effort into curating this year’s programmes. Beyond making sure each event runs smoothly, the committee has focused on ensuring that each initiative aligns with our long-term objectives. I extend my sincere appreciation to each committee member for their hardworking and sacrifices.

The coming year offers significant opportunities for growth, learning, and collaboration. With rapid advancements in technology, prosthodontics continues to play a pivotal role in shaping comprehensive dental treatment. Our Society aims to support members in navigating this progression by providing platforms that strengthen clinical excellence and professional connection.
I invite all members to take part in this journey with us and contribute meaningfully to the Society’s continued advancement. Together, we can build a vibrant, engaged, and forward-thinking Prosthodontic community.
On behalf of the Executive Committee, I look forward to a fulfilling and productive 2026 with all of you.

Yours Sincerely,
Dr Leo Song Jie
